Have you received a Notice from the IRS?

When the IRS needs to ask a question about a taxpayer’s tax return, notify them about changes to their account, or request a payment, the agency often sends a letter or notice to the taxpayer through the United States Postal Service.

First of all, don’t panic!  Review the letter carefully and forward us a copy of all pages (front and back).

Please note, in some instances, for our firm to respond on your behalf, we will need to have Power of Attorney forms signed by all taxpayers on the return.

These steps also apply to any notices received from State taxing authorities.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your tax advisor.
