IRS Reports Significant Increase in Texting Scams
The IRS recently issued a Newswire alert stating there has been an increase in IRS-themed texting scams attempting to steal personal and financial information.
As a reminder from us and the IRS, the IRS will not contact you via text message. They will provide notice via USPS before any contact via phone or in person happens.
